E-2 Visa Treaty Investors USA



Anyone who is from a foreign country and wishes to enter in the United States of America needs a visa (for temporary, permanent, or non-immigrant stay). The E1 and E2 treaty investor visas are for those citizens of a foreign country, which are treaties of commerce and navigation with the United States of America.

If you want to apply for an E 2 visa, then you must be coming to the United States to:

·         Do some sort of trade in  technology or services, in qualifying activities, or substantial trade with the United States and your country

·         Develop and direct the operations of an enterprise in which you have invested a substantial amount of capital.

How to Apply

In order to apply for an E 2 visa, there are so many options; however, the steps may vary if you apply directly to the embassy or through the consultants. Always make sure that the steps to apply are the same as stated in the government website or the consulate website. 
         
Complete the online visa application

The next step is to complete the online visa application form DS-160 and take a printout of the application form to take with you during the interview. You will also have to upload 2 passport size photographs on the online forum while completing the form.

Schedule an Interview

After this, an interview will be scheduled. Note that interviews are generally not required for applicants of certain ages outlined below

If you are age is:

·         13 or younger than that then the interviews are generally not required
·         In between 14 to 79 in age, then an interview will be conducted
·         80 years in age or more than that then also there is no need to give interview
The interview is scheduled in the country where you live generally at the US embassy or at the consulate office.

What are the documents required

Gather and prepare the following required documents before your visa interview:
·         The receipt of the payment made by you before the interview

·         If the photo updating was failed then you will also need to submit the photographs at the time of interview

·         Nonimmigrant Visa Application, Form DS-160 confirmation page

·         A valid passport of the country you live in. make sure that the passport is valid for a minimum of 6 months and if other people are also going with you, ten make sure to submit separate application form for all of them.
